The tour departs from Punta de Mita, one of the closest departure points to the Marietas Islands, making it an excellent option for travelers staying in Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta (Nuevo Nayarit), Bucerías, or Sayulita, who want to explore the islands without long navigation times.

The experience includes snorkeling with colorful marine life, followed by a visit to Nopalera Beach, where you can swim, walk along the shore, explore caves, and take photos. All activities are carried out while being accompanied by a certified guide, who provides assistance and leads the group through safe routes at all times. During beach stops, the guide can also assist by safely transporting your cellphone or camera and helping take photos from the best angles.

Along the way, enjoy a photo stop at the Stone Bridge and observe unique rock formations, arches, and caves while navigating through the islands. You may also spot local wildlife such as blue-footed boobies during the experience.

The experience is conducted aboard a covered boat equipped with a ladder for safe re-boarding, allowing comfortable navigation throughout the tour before returning to the Punta Mita Pier.

What is not allowed

  • Applying sunscreen immediately before activities sunscreen must be applied before boarding or once the boat has started moving.
  • Disembarking with any type of footwear no shoes or water shoes allowed on the islands.
  • Bringing bags backpacks suitcases or food and or drinks onto the beaches.
  • Littering or throwing trash into the sea.
  • Alcohol consumption during island stays only allowed during navigation.
  • Flying drones according to national park regulations.

Important information before booking

This tour does not include access to Hidden Beach (Playa Escondida) and focuses on snorkeling and coastal exploration around the Marietas Islands.

Meeting point: Our office in Punta de Mita. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Transportation is not included.
