Depending on sea conditions, it may also be possible to approach a nearby small beach when conditions allow.

Important information before booking

Meeting Point

The experience begins at our office in Punta de Mita.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time to ensure a smooth and punctual departure.

This tour does not include ground transportation, so each guest is responsible for arriving at the meeting point on their own.

Safety Considerations

This tour includes swimming and physical activity in open water. For this reason, it is not recommended for pregnant travelers or for individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, including cardiovascular issues.

By booking this experience, you confirm that you are participating voluntarily and acknowledge that Grimar Adventures is not responsible for complications related to pre-existing health conditions.

Throughout the experience, it is important to follow all instructions provided by the certified captain and guide, who are there to ensure your safety and the safety of the group.
For safety reasons, access to certain areas or activities may be restricted if conditions require it.

Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policies

• Free cancellations are available only if requested at least 24 hours before the tour starts, based on Punta de Mita local time.
• Tours may be rescheduled once or transferred to a family member, friend, or another person, subject to availability.
• Once a new date has been confirmed, no additional changes will be allowed.
• If a reservation is postponed to a later date, the free cancellation deadline will remain based on the original booking date. If the tour is moved to an earlier date, the cancellation deadline will be adjusted accordingly, while always requiring at least 24 hours’ notice.
• Within 24 hours of the tour, refunds will not be issued for personal circumstances, including illness, accidents, travel delays, missed flights, or any other inability to attend. Exceptions may only be considered in extraordinary situations of international scope.
• Guests who fail to show up on the day of the tour or arrive after the boat has departed will be considered a “no-show” and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling. If availability allows, Grimar Adventures may offer a later departure time.
• The original booking price will remain unchanged, even if the reservation is rescheduled to a date with different rates.
• The number of guests included in the reservation may be modified within the allowed time frame. For shared tours, additional charges or refunds may apply depending on the number of guests. For private tours, modifications may be made at no extra cost, provided that the maximum capacity of the reserved vessel is not exceeded.
• Reservations may be transferred to another person at any time, provided that the new guest presents the booking holder’s name and reservation number. The new guest will automatically be subject to the same terms and restrictions.

Refund Policy

• Refunds apply only when the tour cannot operate due to an internal operational issue.
• Refunds also apply when port authorities, the captain, or Grimar Adventures determine that weather or sea conditions make the activity unsafe or impossible to operate.
• Rain alone is not considered a valid reason for cancellation.
• Refunds within 24 hours of the tour may only be authorized by Grimar Adventures.
• The itinerary may be modified due to operational, weather, or sea conditions without automatically entitling guests to a refund.
• If the tour has already started, any refund will be partial and will depend on the portion of the tour and activities completed before the interruption.
